History
This Archive was established in late 1960s as a pilot project of collecting historical documents pertaining with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Southern Synod which later on changed its name to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Southern Diocese in 1981 So the Archive changed the name as to the mother Institution.
